After a week of 2022 bests, and some posts looking back at my 2022 reading stats and checking if I read my most anticipated new releases, I’m finally kicking off 2023 on the blog with my New Year’s resolutions and goals. I know a lot of people are not into resolutions and I totally get that, but I’ve always loved making them! Every New Year’s Day morning Andrew and I sit down and look at our goals from the past year, see what we accomplished and determine what we want to focus on in the coming year. I always tend to make a lot of goals, with the mindset that I’ll complete a lot of them, but not everything. Despite the long list I have below (which is even an abbreviated version of the list on my notebook page!), the two main focuses I have for the year involve budgeting and exercising. I exercised every single day in 2022 from February 1-April 30 when we moved and then I didn’t have the space or time to incorporate it into my daily routine. Now that we’re in our own home, I have the space to exercise and despite still not really having the time, I’ve started exercising in the morning before work each day (even though it means getting up ridiculously early and feeling like I’m ready for bed at 2PM).

One Response to “2023 Goals and Resolutions”
I love these resolutions! I honestly used to be so big on resolutions but stopped during 2020 (COVID and all) and haven’t really reinstated them since. I love the cleaning our your camera role daily because I seriously need to do that (and honestly, clean it out from the past few YEARS- same with my computer, which screams at me daily that I am running out of storage space lol).
